Levilehto Apartments - an original piece of Levi's history!

 The areas of Kittilä and Sirkka were noticed as holiday destinations only at the beginning of independence. The roots of downhill skiing actually go back to the 1930s, although skiing has been done here before. Under the auspices of the Ski Association, the Hill Skiers' Club was founded in 1935, after which skiing and downhill skiing in Levi have gradually grown in popularity. Skiing activities in Levi started properly in 1964, when the first ski lift was built on the fell.

 In 1953, the first tourism company was established in the village of Sirkka. The company was called Sirkan Matkailumaja, which is now known as Levilehto Apartments.

 The original name in 1953, when the operation started, was Sirkan Matkailumaja, which later changed to Levin Matkailumaja. In 1994, the company passed to its current ownership and in 2004 the name was changed to Levilehto Apartments.

The Vettanen family has been operating as entrepreneurs in Levi for over 30 years now, and we hope that at least the next 30 are also ahead of us!
